Lien Chieu joins the register as Da Nang's last 'emerging' district

Lien Chieu is a new addition to the register this week, entered at Watch. The catalyst is concrete: a deep-water port, new industrial parks, and Da Nang's planned free trade zone are all anchored in the district, and licensed apartment stock is only now starting to appear there.

It's the last district in Da Nang still classed as emerging rather than established, which is exactly why it made the cut. It absorbed roughly half the city's new-apartment demand in 2024, off a base low enough that the arithmetic still works for an early buyer.
