Liquidity risk

How long and at what discount you can exit — resale depth, tenant pool, cross-border buyers.

Definition

Liquidity risk is the chance you cannot sell at a fair price within your horizon. Thin resale markets, off-plan oversupply, or bans on foreign resale channels all raise liquidity risk. We flag it explicitly on distress and frontier picks where exit paths are non-obvious.
